'Nézereau', our 2nd estate-grown wine, comes from vineyard plots planted on the ancient river bed that defined its mixed terroir of light sand and gravel soil. Organically grown, we have voluntarily kept cellar intervention minimal to preserve the character of the vintage and place. Nézereau meets the low sulfites content requirement of the French biodynamic winemaking standards.
Structured, fragrant and flavoursome, the Merlot-dominated palate is smooth. Ideal on its own, Nézereau pairs well with roasted or braised meats, vegetarian or pasta dishes, and tuna steak.
Merlot 65%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Cabernet Franc 10%.
Vintage: From 2018 onwards.
Ageing: At least 12 months in stainless steel vats.
Soil type: Mixed gravel on sand.
